District 17-6A boys’ basketball players earn 2023-2024 league honors
Cy-Fair High School junior Kendarius Johnson was named District 17-6A boys’ basketball Most Valuable Player for the 2023-2024 season.
March 21, 2024—District 17-6A boys’ basketball coaches released the 2023-2024 All-District 17-6A Boys’ Basketball team, following the conclusion of each team’s season in the UIL playoffs.
Cy-Fair High School earned four district distinctions for the 2023-2024 season. Junior Kendarius Johnson was named the district’s Most Valuable Player. Senior Arlind Konjuhi was named Offensive Player of the Year and senior DeMarcus Howard was named Defensive Player of the Year. Head Coach Chad Suleimanji was voted Coach of the Year.
Memorial High School’s Darren Rivera-Carswell was named Newcomer of the Year.
