March 8, 2024—District 17-6A girls’ basketball coaches recently released the 2023-2024 All District 17-6A Girls’ Basketball Team, following the conclusion of each team’s season in the UIL playoffs.

Cypress Creek High School sophomore Aubrey Hampton was named the district’s Most Valuable Player for the 2023-2024 season.

Jersey Village High School senior Jayla Lewis was named Offensive Player of the Year. Cypress Ridge High School senior Mia Riley was named Defensive Player of the Year.

Jersey Village High School senior Jayla Lewis was named District 17-6A girls’ basketball Offensive Player of the 2023-2024 season.

Stratford High School freshman Tess Stephenson was named Newcomer of the Year.

Cy-Fair High School Head Coach Ann Roubique was named Coach of the Year.
